About a decade ago, a truly wonderful man—whose patience rivals that of a saint—entered my heart. We exchanged vows in 2014, and by 2020, we were blessed to finally embrace our roles as Mama and Dada after years of hoping and dreaming. Whether we’re camping by the lake, dipping our toes in the ocean, hiking in the mountains, or cuddled up on the couch at home, we cherish every moment we get to create our own little adventures as a family of three.
Photography has always been an important aspect of my life, and capturing life’s story one snapshot at a time is my true passion. However, photography was not always my sole profession. In 2011, I embarked on a career in law enforcement, dedicating nearly a decade to serving our communities. Once I became a mother, I realized that life is about the quality of our experiences and the legacy we create. Teaching my son to grow into a humble human being while pursuing his dreams inspired me to chase my own. So, I took a leap of faith and left my detective career behind to transform my love for photography into a thriving business. Do I have any regrets? Absolutely not!

Family means the world to me, and being Rhett's mom has truly been the most rewarding part of my life. He’s shown me a level of patience I didn’t know I had, inspired me to keep reaching for the stars, and given me the determination to persevere through everything. My husband, Alex, keeps me grounded. He’s the calm in my chaos and my biggest supporter in every adventure I take us on.

Adventure can mean different things to everyone. For us, it’s all about being with the people we love and sharing the things we enjoy together. From scenic hikes up mountain summits to salty swims in the ocean and everything in between, I find my peace in these moments spent with my loved ones.
Does adventure always have to look like that? Not at all! Just hand me a page-turning book, a thrilling podcast, or a mind-blowing documentary, and I’m all in. I’m always mixing things up with projects my husband loves (not!), diving deep into a new idea, or just happily chilling at home.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Morganne Trickett Photography! As a new mom, I was anxious about getting all the outfits for newborn pictures! Morganne took that anxious feeling away by supplying all the clothes and accessories!! She was great during pictures and made sure our little one was calm!! Morganne has taken our family photos for the last 2 years and we have been very satisfied with everything from the scheduling process to the end results! We have 3 young children, which can be very tricky when it comes to photography and getting a good shot when everyone is smiling (and has their eyes open!). She had lots of tips and tricks to keep the kids happy and interested, and she worked well overall with everyone in our family. She was super flexible when we had to change our session to a different day when someone came down with an illness as well. The final photos were wonderful and perfect to show each person’s beauty and personality. Definitely recommend Morganne!
